Biography
Yvette has completed the Nia White, Green, Blue, Brown and Black Belt trainings along with 5 stages, 52 moves, Nia Freedance and Moving to Heal training . Yvette is based in Lennox Heads, NSW with classes in Ballina and Bangalow weekly.
“I had been looking for something in my life to bring back the joy of movement for some time. When I walked into my first Nia Class it felt like I had come home to joy. My body was simply embracing the movements with such ease, although at times I was in no way doing what the class was. What really is so amazing about Nia is that this is the total truth of the experience. We are free to let our bodies move in a way that it is most comfortable and this is embraced by the system. I have gone from a body racked with pain to a body that is literally smiling with each move it makes. The need to share this experience is so necessary in me as I want everybody to have this freedom in their bodies. It certainly seems to me to be a healing process in all aspects physical, mental and spiritual.”
