Bridgewater Community Hall
1 Carey Gully Road, Bridgewater SA, Australia
Classic Nia is being shared at the Bridgewater Community Hall every Thursday, 9:00am-10:00am. We’re a relaxed group of movers enjoying the gifts that Nia brings to our body, mind and spirit. Nia fitness is set to great music with elements of dance, martial arts and meditation. It brings a great balance of feeling stronger, fitter, and also more ‘zen’. In a typical class you will dance to the music, learn about functional movement with kicks, blocks and punches, and explore your sensory inner world as you pay attention to the movement of your hands, bare feet, and pay closer attention to the personalised experience and joy of your body in motion.
Gentle Nia classes are held at Kalyra Village Monday mornings, where we break down the movements, go a little slower. More focus on stability, and the engagement of all muscles to support active, balanced bodies, and greater mental focus.
